Information We Collect:
We respect our customers privacy. To help us improve your shopping experience, we receive and may store any information entered on our site. With our website service, we automatically receive and record information to our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information, and the page(s) you have visited.
Just as in our store, we do not store credit card information (including for purchases, deposits, and returns).
The information collected is private to Gusti Restaurant Equipment, Inc. and will not be sold or shared to third-party vendors.
Terms & Conditions
Gusti Restaurant Equipment, Inc. reserves the right to remove equipment at any time if equipment is not paid for as agreed to in terms stated below. All purchases require minimum of 50% down; balance due upon delivery of equipment or customer pickup. This agreement constitutes the entire contract either oral or written between parties hereto. It is agreed that title to property purchased shall remain the vendors’ until fully paid for. Should purchaser fail to make payments according to agreement (30 days stated terms) a Finance Charge of 1.75 % of unpaid balance will be added per month. Which is an Annual Percentage Rate of 21%. All expenses incurred in collecting the same including 33&1/3% Attorney’s Fee.
All return requests are subject to approval by Gusti Restaurant Equipment, Inc. No returns will be accepted or credited without prior authorization from Gusti Restaurant Equipment, Inc.
Purchase of gas and electric wares constitutes acknowledgment by the customer of its gas (natural gas or liquid propane) and/or electric designation (phase and voltage). Gusti Restaurant Equipment, Inc. will pay all due diligence to ensuring the customer receives the correct equipment as specified by the customer. However in cases in which the equipment is not correct and all precautions have been taken by Gusti Restaurant Equipment, Inc., this is the responsibility of the customer in entirety.
New smallwares from stock may be returned, unused, undamaged, and in the original packaging, with a receipt within 30 days of and using the same payment method as the purchase.
New equipment from stock may be returned, unused (meaning no hook up, start up, or any other work by technicians) undamaged, and in the original packaging, with a receipt within 30 days of and using the same payment method of the purchase.
All special orders, custom orders, and to-order parts purchases are non-refundable. In special cases they may be able to be returned to the manufacturer, however customers are then responsible all fees related including manufacturer re-stocking fees (ex. 25% to 30%) and return freight by a trucking company hired for such purposes.
Used equipment sales include a 30-day warranty period in which the customer may return if it has pre-existing damage. This excludes damage done by the customer, including any tipping of equipment that includes a compressor or otherwise any negligence to transport the equipment properly. On a case by case basis, used equipment may be fixed by a technician hired by Gusti Restaurant Equipment, Inc. However if the used equipment is deemed unfixable, a full refund will be issued with receipt/proof of purchase within 30 days of, and using the same payment method of the purchase.
Returns may not be made for services such as freight, shipping, or delivery and set in place costs.
Gusti Restaurant Equipment, Inc. does not have a minimum for delivery and set in place, and may be added to an order for an additional fee which will be quoted at the time of order. This service includes delivery, set in place, removal of trash, and hookup by others. The fee will be calculated based on manpower, quantity, difficulty, and distance. Delivery fees are up to the discretion of Gusti Restaurant Equipment, Inc. and may be adjusted after quoting, if other factors appear to apply.
Drop shipments by manufacturers may be arranged, and with select manufacturers the freight fee may be waived. Customers must note if a liftgate is needed, and they will be charged an additional fee for such service by the trucking company (which is outside the control of both Gusti Restaurant Equipment, Inc. and the manufacturers). The customer is responsible for inspecting all drop shipments for damage and signing off consent for the delivery of such items by the company. Concealed damage must be reported to Gusti Restaurant Equipment, Inc. within 24 hours of delivery, so that we can more effectively report it to the manufacturer and come to a resolution.
Special Orders & Additional Shipping Charges:
Gusti Restaurant Equipment, Inc. keeps in stock a showroom of new smallwares and select new equipment. Special orders may be made from manufacturers and distributors with whom we have relationships. In these cases, the customer must consent to the purchase by putting down a minimum deposit of 50% with balance due upon scheduling of the delivery. Due to the nature and necessity of special orders, items may take longer to ship from the manufacturer or may be put on backorder by the factory. Partial releases of orders may occur, backorders or special circumstances will be noted on the order.
Additional shipping charges may be included with orders. In most cases we offer to bring in items with our stocking order, so that the customer has the convenience of not paying for freight. However, for select items that must be brought in by manufacturers that do not offer free freight or must be ordered before Gusti Restaurant Equipment, Inc.'s stocking order, they will incur shipping charges at the customer's expense.
